This large, impressive colorful plate is really an amazing 3D fossil sculpture! Three main ancient fossils, carefully revealed by Moroccan artisans from the stone. What once was living shellfish and seafloor millions of years ago is now a spectacular solid stone fossil with three large ammonites, the largest 5 inches , and one 9 inch long Orthoceras. The whole matrix is 14 X 11 X 1 inches, and weighs about 9 lbs. The matrix color is a rich red , with creamy tan , and even white crystal highlights. Both fossil types in rich shades of brown,, tan and red with quite a bit of banded white on the Orthoceras. But notice the composition enacted by nature; curve shapes, points, more curves. Nature laid this out in a manner that is easy on the eyes. Display proudly on a coffee table, fireplace mantle or in a glass case. These are becoming fashionable even as part of a wall or floor in sophisticated or scientific homes or offices. No Reserve , the bidder wins it!
