Very LARGE Art Glass Bowl possibly SKRDLOVICE/ZELEZNY BROD SKLO An absolutely beautiful art glass bowl with a thick rim and long winged ends. Think it is more likely to be Czechoslovakian than Italian, really not sure. The colour is lovely, a very pale amethyst purple but it looks more pink in daylight. Perfectly polished inside and out, shiny and enormous. It measures approximately 44.5cm/17 1/2 " long x 15cm/almost 6" wide x 15.2cm/6" high at the tip. Thick arched shaped lobes all around the outer sides, a heavyweight, approximately 2kg before wrapping. Perfect condition, totally chip and crack free. The base is polished beautifully too, showing hardly any signs of wear. Will be padded well and sent inside a sturdy outer box.
