I have decided to sell a few of my favourite paintings this week, this being one of them. ..... It is an original oil painting on stretched canvas by the well listed artist H Sopena. H Sopena's paintings sell for good money at auction, so if your browsing for investment purposes or re-sale this is guaranteed bargain. Paintings similar to this seem to realise a good few hundred pounds. However i can't seem to find any fine auctions near by. The painting depicts a seascape with boats at sea under the moon. A very calm and atmospheric piece. The painting is in excellent condition however the frame has managed to develop a few chips over the years, nothing to drastic though and could easily be touched up. Signed lower left No Idea of exact age, most likely to have been executed in the past 30 yrs. Measures: 80 x 57 cm including the frame I have added a very low reserve for this piece.
