I am selling this lovely and very unusual Large oval antique silver plated footed fruit bowl. It has a beautifully decorated edging showing small flowers, leaves and scrolls. It is a large piece measuring 35.5 cm x 30 cm and stands just over 13cm tall including the footed base. It stands on an attached base of 4 ornate feet. Although this is a very beautiful piece, the silver plating is rubbed and slightly scratched on the outside and is very badly pitted and scratched on the inside. I also need to say that it doesn't sit straight needing one of the feet bending a little but I am not strong enough to do this myself. The inside would really benefit from being re silvered and if it doesn't sell this is exactly what I will be doing as it is a shame to see it as it is. It needs a loving home and some TLC. I cannot see any marks other than for what looks like SSO and I have no idea what that is.
