I'll have to let my pictures be my description on this one because I know very little about old butter churns. I don't believe this is a Dazey because it is not marked as such. I am certain it is old.It has a raised 4 QT mark in the glass on one side (2nd picture). It measures 13" high and 6 " across. The glass has rounded corners. The paddles and handle are wooden. The only mark I can find is on the metal which has a "48" (could be the year), an "H" in a circle, and the numbers "2" and "22". I removed the metal top to clean the glass inside and it moved freely. The metal has surface rust overall but it's not deep and there are no holes in the metal. The glass is near perfect...no chips or cracks -- the photos may still show some residue of melted wax which was on the jar, but is easy to remove without damage. The wood handle and paddles are in good condition.
