For your consideration is this Beautiful Vintage German 8 Day Cuckoo Clock. The Clock was made in the Black Forest Region of Germany. This clock has been completely refurbished and works perfectly. Clock has been refurbished inside and out and has been cleaned and serviced. The 8 day Regula 34 Movement has been cleaned ,Oiled and test ran for over 2 weeks and runs Flawlessly. The clock is 13" tall from the Top of the Bird to the Bottom of the Decoration and 11" wide from End to End of the Crown by 6" Deep . All of the decorative carvings are carved from Linden Wood from The Black Forest. The decorative theme of this clock is unique from the standard leaf and bird design. This is truly a collectors item that will be an asset to your collection and a remarkable family heirloom that should continue to increase in value. The Clock sounds the hour and half hour by the Cuckoo Bird opening the door and giving a "Coo-Coo" for each hour, one Coo-Coo for One O'clock, Five for Five O'clock etc. it also has a Gong that chimes out the hour and it Coo-Coo's and chimes once on the half hour. The clock does not have a night shut off but you can simply remove the Strike Weight at night for quiet operation.
