This is a beautiful Ruskin bowl with the characteristic crystalline glaze of this period of manufacture. Underneath is the impressed stamp Ruskin England and the date 1931. It is a great piece but unfortunately damaged. The crack (see photo close up) runs from the rim and is about 6cm long. It cannot be seen except on close inspection and it has been properly glued, so that the bowl has its ring back and the crack will not go any further. There is no other damage or restoration. Without the damage a large bowl like this would be £200 plus. It is priced to reflect its condition.It is still a superb piece. Diameter of bowl 25cm. Unpacked weight 650 grams (so you can tell how light it is).
