Traditional Santa Clara Pueblo wedding vase with bear paw design on both sides. Created by two well known Santa Clara potters, MADELINE N. TAFOYA (d) and LAURA TAFOYA, mother and daughter. Both of their names are engraved into the piece on the bottom. It was created in 1989 as shown on the bottom. The vase is heavy, measuring 8" high and 5 1/2" wide and is in good condition with only some scuff marks for its age. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Laura has won awards at numerous shows including the Santa Fe Indian Market. Thanks for looking.
