Original, vintage, 1925, large admiralty sea chart of the Gulf ofCattaro to Corfu including the Coast of Italy from Cape St Maria Di Leuca to Brindisi .Has an inset map of Port Otranto (see 1 st picture).Published at the London Admiralty in 1878 under the superintendence of Captain F.J. Evans RN. F.R.S. Hydrographer .Corrections to 1925.Single fold map with the fold horizontally through the centre.Size of the chart is 68.5cm x 102.5cm approx.Has 32 small circular orange pen marks, all of which were marked on the map during its use for nautical purposes (the orange marks each indicate a light).Chart No.2701.Condition is good and complete but does have a small split at the bottom edge (in the border).Please note the photos show the chart a brownish colour and with shadows (this is due to my lack of expertise with the camera!) please see the 3rd picture which is a scan of part of one chart to show what the colour of the chart looks like in reality (it is not a scan of this particular chart but they all have the same colour/characteristics which are not shown very well on the photos).Insured postage is included in the purchase price of this map.
