Title: Signed John Lewis Art Glass Studio Moon Paperweight Description: A beautiful signed art glass moon paperweight by John Conrad Lewis. This paperweight was created in the early 80's, the heart of the studio art glass movement in the US. This movement was started by Lewis and among others: Littleton, Labino, Myers, Lipofsky, Eckhardt, Higgins, Heaton, Biniarz, etc. This paperweight is similiar to his moon bottles, vases, and bowls with the wonderful interior scenes. It has an excellent and cool moon scene with black and pink. It is in excellent condition and has a smooth pontil where the signature is. Lewis' work is in most collections, museums, and books on art glass, including Contemporary Art Glass by Ray and Lee Grover, which is for sale on ebay by Kux Antiques with signed and unsigned copies.
