Stunning huge statue /figurine of a romantic couple.I am not sure what this statue is made of - perhaps some sort of resin but it is extremely heavy.The figures are painted in a black/metallic colour with a bronzed effect and the overall effect with fine detailed features is very attractive.There are some signs of wear,most notably the end of the big toe of the male figure is missing but this is not particularly noticeable and I think could be repaired if wished -although I don't think that this is absolutely necessary in view of it being so hard to spot.There is a silver coloured disc on to of the man's head which I think possibly previously served to accommodate a glass top to make it into a table and of course this could be it's future use also but it would serve equally well as a decorative feature in a conservatory or on a garden terrace.It is a truly beautiful figurine.Measures 20 inches high x 15 inches wide x 15 inches deep.In view of very heavy weight would recommend collection only.
