Large Uranium-Glass Geissler Tube Excellent Geissler tube a little over 8” long with a liquid jacket and a wavy central tube with five globes of uranium glass. These glow bright green when the tube is fired up as my initial photograph indicates, a pretty effect indeed. The tube is in good, working condition with firm end-caps. The engraving is taken from Becker’s catalogue of 1931 and shows part of the large range of tubes then available; the tube on offer will date from the same period.
