This is a great looking, vintage sterling silver box. It measures 7 inches wide, 3 3/4 inches deep and 2 3/8 inches tall. The lid has a large 'A' monogram on a raised circle. The box is wood lined. It has a leather bottom. The hinge is very good. T are a couple of very light dents on the back of the lid and a small crack on one back lid corner. The box weighs 1 lb. 5.7 oz. I don't know how much of that is wood. T are hallmarks on both the box and the lid. They are: J-B in an oval, Standing Lion, Cat's Face and a lower case 'h'. I believe this was made by Joseph Braham in 1903. He was at Soho, London, and made silver goods from 1875 to 1920. This is a great, vintage sterling box! Shipping is $6.55 priority mail in US.
