Beautiful sturdy Black Ash Adirondack trappers pack basket.These black ash baskets are becoming more difficult to find and someday impossible.Measures 21 3/4" tall including the handle.From Long Lake NY, the heart of the Adirondacks, this basket Features the original hand carved handle.In excellent condition, the opening you see around the handle area is original.The top of the basket was reinforced with tiny bands of thread when made.The width at the top opening is 15 3/4" x 13 1/2".The girth is 49" at the widest point.
