By the age of the 24 ¼" by 32 ¼" canvas and the 29 ½" by 37 ¼" frame I guarantee this original Oil Painting is pre-1950s. It depicts a group of California Indians infront of a large Mission Church. If you look closely you will see a large group of figures going into the church and on the left are several in and among the trees. They are watching over the small herd of sheep in the foreground. I keep thinking a see a signature in the lower right hand corner, but then again it just may be the foliage. I wish I could tell you who painted this exceptional original American Oil Painting. The walls of the Mission are painted with a thick stucco design. There is a stable craquelar to some of the thicker paint but there are no damages or any restorations.......
