Very large Vintage Decorative Hand Painted Art Pottery Bowl from Italy. The bowl is singed by the artist. The bowl measures 21 by 16 inches and stands 2 1/2 inches tall. There are two holes drilled in the oval foot for inserting a string for wall hanging. The bowl is in very nice shape. Along the top edge is has a very shallow sliver chip with two small abrasions directly to the left, a flea bite chip, and a couple of short lines of abrasion to the finish. It also has a chip to the oval foot. I have shown all of this in he pictures. . There are some off white lines in the decorative painting which at first glance appear to be scratches to the finish, but are actually part of the art work. The lines mainly trace the veins in the leaves, but there is one area that appears to be random. You cannot feel anything if you run your fingers along these lines, so it is under the glaze and by design, and not damage. I have shown this in the pictures.
