This great old chest is in great condition for its age, but it is not perfect. One of the door pulls is missing, but they could both be replaced to match - easy fix. The wire is broken on one of the doors. If I were to keep it, I think I'd remove all of the wire & replace it with glass - another easy fix. (see photo #5 for both issues) The chest itself measures 9 3/4" tall x 12" long x 6 1/2" wide, and the mirror, which is easily removable & very clear, is 7" x 9 1/2". T are four drawers that are all 1 1/4" deep. The bottom drawer is slightly shorter to make room for the enclosed music box that plays when that drawer is pulled out. The music plays clear & true, and it is a popular music box tune that I can hum, but cannot name. The wood has nice color & grain, and looks really nice. The bottom has a "Made in Japan" sticker attached. A little effort would make this a really nice little piece of funiture.
