This is a fantastic auction for acomplete set of 12 Days of Christmas Bells They were made by Bridalane. On one side each is engraved with the year it was made And says Merry Christmas. The first bell is dated 1972 & says A Partridge In A Pear Tree Made in England 2nd Bell dated 1973 & says 2 Turtle Doves Made in England 3rd Bell dated 1974 & says 3 French Hens Made in England 4th Bell dated 1975 & says 4 Calling Birds Made in Spain 5th Bell dated 1976 & says 5 Golden Rings Made in Spain 6th Bell dated 1977 & says 6 Geese a-Laying Made in England 7th Bell dated 1978 & says 7 Swans A Swimming Made In England 8th Bell dated 1979 & says 8 Maids A Milking Made in England 9th Bell dated 1980 & says 9 Ladies dancing Made in England 10 th Bell dated 1981 & says 10 Lords A Leaping Made in England 11 th Bell dated 1982 & says 11 Pipers Piping Made in England 12 th Bell dated 1983 & says 12 Drummers Drumming Made in England They each measure: 3"tall x not quite 2 ½"wide at the base. I think some are silver plate and some look brass, unless it's just aged patina on them. These old bells were found all together at an estate sale and could use a cleaning.
