For your consideration, this Fantastic, Large, Highly Detailed, Handcrafted Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Aquatic Themed Dimensional Openwork Pin/Pendant.The brooch measures approximately 1 and 11/16 inches high, by about 1 and 7/8 inches wide, and roughly 3/8 of an inch deep, not including the pinback. The removable pendant bale has an opening with a diameter of approximately 3/16 of an inch, or about 4.76 millimeters. (I have included a US Quarter in the photographs, for the measurement-challenged and ruler-averse.) The brooch is stamped, "Mexico 925", on the back, and appears to be signed, but the back is textured and the mark is illegible. Weight is approximately 15.5 grams.This brooch is in very good vintage condition, but will have the expected surface scratches, and possibly tiny dings to the silver, from normal wear. I polished this, but there will be more tarnish remaining, especially in the crevices of all the openwork detail. Some I left for contrast, and some you may wish to work on further. The pin seems straight and sharp, the lock works well. The removable pendant bale seems to be an addition, but is of good quality and condition, very useful, so I left it.
