This is a fabulous Xmas knee hugger in the form of a female dressed in gold lame. When "sitting" she measures about 8" from the top of her head to her butt. Stretched out she is more like 13". I think the pictures show her pretty well. I know that she is a vintage item, and yet she is in incredibly fresh and clean in good condition. I did not want to bend her too much for the pictures. There is a gold loop/string attached to her neck if you choose to hang her, and a bell at the end of her cap. I always strive to be as upfront as possible in my descriptions and so this is the bottom line: the worst thing I can say about this item is that she is dressed in that beautiful "gold" fabric- I think it's called lame. Therefore , there are some gold threads that stick out of the fabric and some hems that look frayed. I know I have seen lots of doll (Barbie type) clothes made of this, and it's pretty much what happens with this kind of cloth.
