up for auction 1 old 2 weight vienna regulator, keyhole style. this is a large clock. clock measures 56"h x 17"w x 7"d. clock has 7" porcelain dial. dial has second hand. there are no chips or cracks. all applied decorations are intact. brass movement will tick and strike, but is tempermental. ticks nicely without pendulum, ran all night. with the pendulum it ran a few minutes. i don't see makers mark on movement, but i feel it is german. brass weights are engraved and in good condition, no dents. brass pendulum is 6". clock has original key. pulleys are modern and someone has restrung with some kind of nylon string. i believe string should be changed to brass wire rope in my opinion. the horse may not be original, but suits clock very nice. it don't see any breaks or cracks in case. there is one slight old crack in top crown back side only. it has been glued and filled. there is not enough photos to show everything. clock overall is very beautiful, ornate and large. great piece. item being sold as is no returns. please view photos carefully and ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. ticktockjoe.
