This bed will actually accomodate two dolls! The bed is completely handmade by us in our home. We use solid pine, fir and plywood. The plywood is used only under the mattress area to create a flat platform. All holes are pre-drilled and screwed with 1.5" to 2.5" zinc-coated wood screws. This is a sturdy, quality bed and deluxe 8-piece Bedding Set. We're sure you will be pleased. You can choose that the bed be primed and painted semi-gloss white or we can leave the bed as natural wood for you to stain or finish as you like. Because of the high cost of shipping the bed fully assembled, we are now going to ship the bed totally assembled except for the attachment of the headboard . This will only involve the use of a common phillips screwdriver to attach 4 screws that secure the headboard to the bed. The holes will be pre-drilled and pictures provided so anyone can do this!
