This auction is for a very nice display piece of a signed Larry Bird first day cover. Postmarked August 28th 1991 from Springfield, Mass. to commemorate basketball's 100th anniversary. Springfield is where the Basketball Hall of Fame is and where the game originated. This first day cover has been on my wall for over twenty years. It's time to make some room as we're downsizing. Piece is in excellent shape. The photo on top shows some trading cards, magazine covers and the number 33 jersey worn by the Celtic star.
