Late 1800's Victorian Cosmetics Chest(Please See Photos Above For All Side and Contents) Here's a very ornate and intricate Victorian cosmetics chest.We do not have an exact date, but approx. age is late 1800's, possible very early 1900's.It is in good condition for it's age with a few flaws we have noted below.Measurements are approximately 9" width x 12" length x 4.5" height.Item weight is approximately 5 pounds unpackaged.There is a crack along the top face of the box as well as one on the bottom. There are also some chips in the outside woodworking but most is intact. Interior is in extremely good condition with the exception of a few chips on the woodwork around the mirror.This sale includes the following...Box with foldout interior mirror, 12 upper partitians (7 with lids), liftout upper drawer, 3 more lower partitions (2 with lids), 2 metal powder canisters, one built in powder puff, 3 keys (one for the box, the others we're not sure about)and 4 metal perfume canisters that still smell like grandma. Interior box lids are stained red and yellow.Be sure to check out all photos at the top of this page.
