Up for bid is a Buffum 10 Pin that is cobalt blue, measures 8" with a smooth base and an applied tapered collar. Embossing is horizontal when the bottle is on its side and on both sides in oval slug plates: Sarsaparilla And Mineral Water -- Buffum & Co Pittsburg Now for the not-so-good news. It does have a "U" shaped crack on the top that is 1" wide and about 1 1/8" deep that goes down one side of the top to a little below it and back up. It also has a shatter on the lip. This bottle has very light ground wear and is in fine condition other than the issues with the top It is a fine example of Buffum's first bottle. He opened for business in 1845. The bottle was dug in this condition and the crack has not moved. Good Luck and see my other soda listing. I combine shipping. On multiple orders, wait for revised shipping costs.
