An Exceptionally Rare Early Wrought Iron Candleholder We are happy to offer this late 18th to early 19th c., wrought iron, over the chair back, candleholder. The simple design would indicate that the maker was interested in functionality and therefore, crafted this special candle holder. It is the first of it's kind that I have seen .The body of the candle holder was designed and crafted from a single piece of wrought iron. The candle cup, which is 3/4" in diameter was carefully cinched through the bottom (photo 8). This style of construction would indicate it is most likely an American made piece. In excellent condition, found in New England, we are delighted to offer this wonderful piece of Americana. 8 1/4" l x 2" dia Please view all pictures, and email with questions. PLEASE NOTE; THE CANDLE HOLDER CAN HANG OVER AN OPEN COUNTRY CUPBOARD DOOR, SHALL TRY TO ADD A PICTURE.
