Lawrence Block, The Burglar in the Closet, 1978. Bernie Rhodenbarr #2. Hardcover first edition (stated), first printing (with full string of numbers from 9 to 2, as was Random House's practice). Signed by the author on the front flyleaf. The book is near fine; it is square, tight, and without any spine-cocking; the corners are sharp; and the pages are white and clean. There is a bit of push-down at the spine extremities, and there may be slight sun-fading to the top edges of the boards (see photos). The dust jacket is very good plus, with rubbing to the black and traces of wear at the base of the spine, the bottom corners of the flaps, and the bottom right of the back panel (see photos). A very nice copy. Not price-clipped ($6.95). No remainder mark. The book will be sent in a protective mylar sleeve. The book will be shipped bubble-wrapped in a box by USPS media mail. Buyer will pay $4.00 for shipping. I will insure the book at my expense. I will combine shipping; please wait for an invoice before paying for any purchases.
