Stunning Amethyst GeodeBig 4 lb Beauty!Special Auction Starting at 99¢This beautiful Amethyst geode is from the country of Uruguay and ranges in medium to dark shades of purple with mixed size druzy crystal points. The geode weighs 4 lbs and is approximately 5¼" tall, 5¾" wide, and sits up to 2½" deep. This geode has a flat cut base and stands freely on its own, making it ideal for display on a shelf, desk, mantle or more. The stone features a beautiful array of amethyst crystals! Please note: A few of the crystal points have chips from the mining process . The stone also features a tiny amount of white Calcite that formed between some of the amethyst crystals. This a special geode that was mined out of solid Basalt, which is the gray stone on the back of the piece. Pictures show the amethyst in two different kinds of indoor lighting conditions. This is an exceptional geode we're happy to start at a below wholesale opening price.Amethyst is in the same family of gemstones as citrine and quartz, and is mined in sizes from small gemstones up to the large cathedral church.
