Exact piece shown. 4 lb 5 oz. See pictures. When buying rough, you must cut with a rock saw to "see" just what you have. This piece has been cut on one side. Pictures taken wet - to get same results you will need to polish or dip in water. Very little matrix on these slabs. Fresh from South Africa. All still have "African mud"* on it. Much larger pieces listed separate.Breaking news - As of 2014 South Africa is strictly enforcing, NO Minerals can be shipped out of the country in raw form.Last pictures are of the mine in South Africa. Very labor intensive, first the top cover is removed with a large Track Hoe, then workers manually shovel and pry the layers of Tiger Eye out of the ground, then carry up and out to the chipping area where the matrix is hand chipped off. Then sorted by color and grade. Hand loaded onto a truck and taken to the yard for final sorting. All in a desert area near the Kalahari. All these workers were very happy to have their job - now all have no job due to Government "help".
