Stamped; LB RICHARDSON ATHOL MASS PATENTED OCT 11, 1859. About 7 1/2" long. Very clean pair of Lasting Pliers or "Lasting Machine" or "Lasting Pincers" as he calls them in his patent application. (Patent No.25,762). Look to be hand made due to file marks etc. - probably not many were made. Copy of original drawing and application/description from patent office included. Call or email regarding purchases or questions. . For pick-up we are 4 1/2 hrs north of Boston, 2 1/2 hrs Portland, 1 1/2 hrs Augusta. We travel to Mass. frequently.
