All original. I have never seen one of these before and I do not think I ever will get another one. This is a special issue commemorative scarf issued to member of the Stasi Wachregiment in Berlin on the last day of their service. It will date from the late 1970s to early 1980s and it is has been signed by all of the members of the platoon and beyond of the wearer of this scarf. This is a very, very scarce and unusual item. It measures 26" square. I currently have a large number of original East German (GDR DDR Deutsche Demokratische Republik) items up for sale on ebay and I will be listing more regularly over the coming weeks.
