Le Creuset Fench cookware...burnt orange enamelwareThis set is over 55 years old! Wooden handle do show wear and some enamel is worn thru but all in all it is still a great usable set.....my mother in law still used it up until a month ago! This is a very heavy set. It lasted this long it will last many more years! 2 pot 2 lids and one 6 in fry panBig pot has 18 marked on bottom and small pot has 14 marked on bottom if that means anything to you. 7 incher and a 5 incher they are in diameter. New carrier rates will be in effect January 2,2011 for USPS and January 3, 2011 for UPS. So please I ask do not be amazed that bulky or heavy items need extra wrapping which leads to a bigger box, which leads to more weight/bulk, which leads to a higher ship cost. It is to protect your precious purchases!! !!!Now you can check out this other site on ebay bikerchic1031 for more vintage items. You will not be disappointed in the prices she has!….check it out!! Informing you that an added $2.00 handling fee (for wrapping such as pellets, bubbles, shredded paper, tape, bigger box 'if necessary', and all that comes along with packing, and care, etc) is already included in the posted shipping price. Ebay allows a minimal handling fee, but says you are to know so I list it so there is no doubts. Anything over 13 oz must go priority and not first class mail under USPS mail regs. I do not ship parcel post. Reason? Problems in the past! eBay uses the feedback star rating to calculate our seller fees. If you leave us FIVE STARS on all of the four ratings we get charged lower eBay fees and can pass the savings onto you. If we get a four rating or lower on any star it costs us 15% or more in eBay fees. Most people think a four star rating is good... but in eBay reality it will HURT our cost of business if you leave four stars or less. eBay's fee discount rating is based on a 4.8 average and must be maintained on every star. If this is a VINTAGE item, it may have scratches, stains, chips, grazing, dust, etc just because that is they way they are, OLD. If so, I try my best to mention the flaws, but as with any vintage piece, do not expect perfection. A few folks have expected the vintage items to be mint when in reality, unless I mention they are mint, have been around the "block a few times" and are precious enough to still be in existence with us as we go about our daily lives! Please realize this fact. Shipping also goes by size not solely weight. If item is CLOTHING , the above MAY not be necessary as no breakage or rattling of contents will occur. ((clothing does not break LOL)). Handling fees are also allowed by ebay as long as it is a reasonable amount.
