This is the hard to find Trojan Publishing's LEADING WESTERN Vol. 3 #2 from February 1947 . . . a pulp known for complete, gritty Ol'West stories! Under a sharp, tight cover , there are trail tales by Oliver Wood, Joe McCoy, PAUL HANNA (2 stories), James Malcolm, JOHN SHUTE, Peter Forbes, ARTHUR CUTLER, Albert Slater, MAX NEILSON, Wade Stanley, Frank Worth . . . plus the western feature article THE WONDER JUG by Will Nichols. You w on't find these stories on Kindle and Nook. "Pulp Fiction" refers to pulp magazines, which were cheap publications made in the early 20th century. The stories inside were usually lurid, racy and exciting . . . and now highly collectible. The magazines usually sport covers that extend past the interior of the magazines, covers too short or not wide enough, so pulp edges are often imperfect and have overlap bends/indents, nicks, and small tears. The paper is substandard newsprint (ie) pulp paper . . . definitely not produced to stand the test of time. Pulps usually sport corner bumps, edge bumps, generalized wear, use indicators, page tanning to bronzing, brushed discoloration . . . see pictures for additional conditional elements.
