Made from real leather, this zipper pull is a leather embossed replica of a bomb tag in keeping with the U.S. Army Airforce of the WWII period. The originals were made of metal but this leather version has the added value that edges would not mark your beloved leather jacket. These and many other types of zipper pulls were used on aviation leather jackets so that the pilots and crew could get into (and out of) their flight gear quickly even when wearing thick leather gloves. The wording on this repro bomb tag is correct to the original design and has been painstakingly detailed to hang nicely together on an authentic split ring that can be easily attached to the zipper slider of your jacket.
