This auction is for this Beautiful Leather Horse Figurine/Statue. I've never seen anything like this before. The fine grained leather is tightly stretched over the body showing all the definition and muscle tone, the glossy glass eyes are set under the leather for a life-like look. The saddle and bridle are also made of leather with brass buttons and stirrups, and the ears are suede. The workmanship is Outstanding. It looks quite old and t is a couple of small nicks in the leather, a small tear on one ear, one stirrup and one reign is missing which I imagine can be replaced, but overall the horse is in excellent condition. I can't stress enough about what a beautiful job the craftsman did, the mane and the tail are even textured to look like hair and the seams are barely noticeable w the different pieces of leather meet.
