This is for a nice green leather Victorian writing desk set. It has a box lined in deep green velvet for holding jewellery with a slot to the right to display rings. The box has a matching writing paper wallet that has its original ink blotter with spares and this is lined in green watermark silk. The wallet has two large pouches and two smaller ones along with a socket for holding a dip pen. It is a good quality desk set which is in nice clean condition with hardly any wear, just very light surface wear to the edges of the leather on the box and a litle bit of cracking to the leather on the outside of the spine of the stationary wallet, thats all. The wallet measures 253mm (10") by 180mm (7") closed and the box is 125mm (5") by 90mm (3.5") by 25mm (1") deep. Both pieces are embossed in gold with the initials E.A.B. and the dip pen is marked 'British Pens Ltd, Accommodating Holder, England'.
