The HTZ-F (s) is made for Marklin Z scale F-7 type receptical & shells. It will fit other Martklins both diesel & electrics with the same space configurations & requirements. Heat effects the life of Plastic,Resins, & performance of electric motors, LEDs are exceptionally brighter with negligiable temperature ideal for the tight enclosed space of the Z F-7 shells. It is bidirectional working both forward and reverse with ON under 1.5v and full bright at about 2.75v. They turn ON while engine is at bay and light down the track, therefore both act & look realistic. HTZ-Fs) for F-7 Steam Locos, HTZ-F for Diesel type engines and requiremets. The ones for sale now are for the F-7 Marklin Mikado typt ,but do fit and Work in the F-7 Diesels & Other Electrics. Marklin Mikado examples; # 8806 Great Northern, # 8807 Southern, #8882 Penn. , etc.
