This is a vintage copper medallion depicting to the Lee Monument in New Orleans Louisiana. This monument was erected in honour of General Robert E. Lee in the year 1884. The shield shaped medallion (32mm diameter) shows the Monument and it's surroundings on the front.The reverse is blank. Two holes are present suggesting this item,that seems to have some age,was once attached to something. The medal is in a good collectable condition.There is wear but all details are clear and legible.The medal grade is a Fine (F). The medal in the photograph is the actual item for sale. Attractive looking medal with a rich patina .
