This is a VERY RARE ANTIQUE ceramic bank that is in excellent condition--no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs!! This is Dumbo the Elephant and he stands approximately 7" tall x 5 1/2" wide (at the ears). My researce tells me that the bank was manufactured by LEEDS Mfg Co in the 1950s. Dumbo has been mine since I was a young boy (I am now 63 years young). I can remember him sitting on my dresser when I was a kid---then he got packed away for many many years. When I found him again he had a prominent place in my bookcase ever since. Inside t are still a few coins too. On the back of this bank it reads "DUMBO WALT DISNEY". I'm selling him because someday I won't be and my kids will sell him in a garage sale for $.50 or give him to the Salvation Army!!! I just want him to have a GOOD HOME. Check out our other items !
