This Lefton Lighthouse Portable Lamp can be illuminated with either a battery or electric holiday style candle light. Label on bottom of base suggests a 7 Watt Type C or smaller lamp. The Handpainted Lamp has ALL authenticating marks and stickers under the base which are clearly shown in photograph. The piece is in MINT condition. Under the lamp (not visible when item is displayed) on the rim of the opening w the candle lamp is inserted, are some insignificant indentations which appear to be part of the production process; the result of some sort of tooling. The Lamp stands 10.5 inches tall from the bottom of the base to the tip of the Lighthouse. The base is 5 inches across at its widest. This art pottery figurine is notable for the detailed painting of the famous 1859 Cape Lookout Lighthouse located in North Carolina and the rocky shoreline upon which it sits. The Lefton line of collectibles is famous for its art replicas of famous Americana landmarks. Please email seller with any questions.
