Shipping and handling charges are not flat based rates but solely based on the total package weight plus cost of packing materials. This way you can be sure you will get the best price for the shipping method chosen. I use USPS for all my shipping unless requested by the customer and you can find all the costs associated with postage fees online at . For example my standard shipping costs for packing materials are as follows: $1.50 for a small or medium bubble lined mailer, $2.50 for a large bubble lined or tyvek mailer, $3.50 for a small box, $5.50 for a medium box, $7.50 for a large box up to a maximum of $10.00. I will be glad to provide a breakdown of shipping charges upon request. "BIDDING" type auctions will quite often have free domestic shipping and discounted international shipping charges. You can identify discounted shipping charges by either the "Free Shipping" logo or shipping charges ending with "77".
