Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 kit + extra optical sensors. I used this once to design a robot that used a PID algorithm to follow black tape on a track and stop for obstacles. All the parts are included from the Mindstorms NXT 2.0 kit plus two extra optical sensors I used to identify the edges of the black tape. I only used NXC for programming, but the Mindstorm programming software can be used as well. I did the project with regular wheels (included) for greater speed.
