This set comes with the original box and original manual. It was put together and mostly just displayed for a while before being put into storage for a number of years. The box had some tape on it that held it closed during a move and while in storage. Some marks are left on the box from removing the tape. There is some slight wear around the edges of the box. If you have any questions about it, feel free to ask.The set was recently rebuilt to check that all pieces are accounted for and are in good condition. The set will be disassembled, and all the pieces carefully placed in ziploc bags to prevent any pieces from escaping. I realize I am only human and there are a great number of pieces in this set, so if for some reason you believe you find pieces missing or in worse condition than described upon receiving the set, please let me know so I may attempt to remedy it before you consider giving negative feedback. Please also note that gray and black pieces are sometimes difficult to discern in the manual, so please check carefully before assuming pieces are missing. The box will be taped shut with painter's tape to hold it while still being able to remove it easily with minimal likelihood of damage to the box unless requested otherwise by the winner.
