Leigh Ware Pottery of Sebring, OHIO RED TOWER Covered Sugar Bowl From the research that I have done (and this isn't factual), it appears this line was made for a very short period of time from the end of the 1920's to very early 1930's. I can not find another piece of this anywhere on line though I did find some Blue Tower pieces that would have been made, I suspect, at the same time...1929-1930 time frame. We have several pieces of this pattern, however because of the condition of each piece, we will be selling it a little bit at a time so we can show an accurate description of it. This is the sugar has crazing on it but it is so light, it won't show up via camera. The red tower design is pretty much in tact. I am hoping the picture shows all of this ok. This covered sugar bowl is about 6 inches across from the end of the one handle to the end of the other handle. It is about 4-1/2 inches width or depth (however you want to look at it) and is about 5 inches tall with lid ON.There are no chips, cracks, or repairs other than what I mentioned earlier, however again, please keep in mind, that this has been used and they is not new. Notice slight wear around the rim of the lid only....not out of the ordinary hard to see flea bites but it might have been that way new also.
