RARE 1982 LENCI CALENDAR with Price Guide Here is another wonderful out-of-print Lenci bit of paper ephemera that you don't come across very often! Compiled by Brien F. Doran and Linda Lea Lindquist, it is a beautiful survey of The Lenci Collection of Dublin, CA assembled beginning in 1976. The fabulous life-like groupings of these fabulous dolls in wonderful outdoor settings are a delight. Equally eye-popping are the prices given for various series of Lencis for the year 1982! Photos are all in color and dolls shown include several series of the the lovable children, mascottes and miniatures, character dolls, Googlies, boudoir ladies and fetishes and other novelty items. In addition to the calendar pages -- one full-page photo per month -- there is also a short history of the Lenci company, a price guide, and a brief discussion about the care and maintenance of these delicate felt creations. There is also mention of a 1983 sequel which, alas, never materialized. It promised to be equally as beautiful as the 1982 edition, which makes this such a wonderful item for the serious Lenci collector. Condition : Used but in excellent condition . Some residue from a price tag on the back cover and a nick near the girl's nose on the front cover.
