This is a very special Lionel High Cube Boxcar #9697, Lionel #6-29232, that was produced by LCCA in June of 1999. Only 468 of these cars were produced and signed by the artist Lenny Dean who was the creator of the famous Lionel Lenny the Lion Logo. Winners were picked by a random drawing only to just LCCA members. Cost of the car at that time was $100.00 and again, limted to ONLY 468 pieces. This car is brand new in the box and as pictured below, signed by Lenny Dean in black marker ink. The inside of the boxcar by one side of the sliding doors has a sticker which reads the following.... THIS BOX CAR IS ONE OF A LIMITED NUMBER OF 468 UNITS ESPECIALLY PRODUCED BY LCCA. JUNE, 1999. A nice addition and a rare piece to add to your Lionel collection.
