You are bidding on one used ThinkPad model X200, type 7453-FDU. This laptop has a password set on the ability to change the BIOS settings. The password for this is lost and not available. The boot order is currently fixed as:1: ATAPT CD02: -USB HDD (this includes USB flash drives)3: ATA HDD0All BIOS settings are password protected and can not be changed. You can look at the BIOS screens and see the settings, but you can not change them.I put the fact that this laptop has a supervisor password set right up here at the front of the listing. If you do not know what "supervisor password" means I would strongly suggest that you not bid on this laptop. This laptop is sold for "parts or not working".There is a valid and legible CoA for Windows Vista Business on the machine. I put a loaner HDD in the tablet. I put the tablet on a base/dock to have an optical drive available to the system. I got Windows Vista Business to install up to just after entering the CoA. The CoA was good and was accepted. At that point the tablet beeped loudly and shut itself down. I did not pursue the installation of the OS any further.The Windows installation screens that I saw were good. I could move the cursor around with a USB mouse.This tablet has an Intel Core 2 Duo L9400 CPU running at 1.86GHz. The memory is 3GB of PC3-1066 memory on two sticks.The screen is 12.1 inch diagonal with a resolution of 1280 x 800. The screen is free of any scuffs (from the keys, usually) and scratches (from aggressive cleaning). There are no always on or dead pixels on the display. The tension on the lid hinge is good, the display stays open and where you put it. The latch that holds the lid closed works as it should. The touch screen is in pristine condition. It looks like it has never been used as a touch screen. There are no areas of stylus scuff/scratch. The touch screen responds to both a stylus (not included) and a finger (user supplied). A dog's nose and a cat's paw will also control the cursor.The CMOS battery is good, the date-time is maintained while the machine is off. The keyboard is in good condition. There are no sticking or finicky keys. There is no dust, debris or detritus under the keys. There is some shine on the keys. The sound output works, Windows dings and chirps. The USB ports work, I used a USB mouse. This tablet works when it is attached to a base/docking station. The CPU cooling fan runs quiet.What is NOT included with this tablet:* HDD* HDD tray and rubber rails* cover on the HDD slot and a retaining screw for the HDD cover* AC adapter (power supply)* base/dock* stylus* main batteryWhat you see in the photos is what you get.Cosmetically this tablet is in good used condition. There are two noticeable scratches on the lid, and these came from inept sticker/label removal (someone tried to scrape the label off). Otherwise there are only very minor scuffs from normal usage. Overall I would say this machine has been very lightly used, that is, it has not been bumping around out in the field. All the rubber feet are present, well attached and do their job. The rubber bumper around the keyboard are all present and in working order.The photos are of the actual item you will receive.
