This is a stunning Lenox SOUP TUREEN in the AUTUMN pattern with the NEWER, GOLD BACKSTAMP that I believe began being manufactured in 1966. This hard-to-find tureen is in excellent, condition, has rarely been used and has no cracks, chips, or dings. T is some shelf soil on the underside rim from sitting around for many years. The gilding looks good and the painted design appears in mint condition with no apparent wear. The pattern has multi-colored fruit and blue scrolls. Replacement cost---if you can even find a replacement---is valued at $1,299. T is no reserve on this wonderful and remarkably pristine piece. A lovely addition to your service!
