Up for bid is this beautiful collector's nativity set of Lenox figurines and wooden stable (or creche). I cannot describe how beautiful this nativity set; the pictures I've posted just does not do this set justice. You will see by the other postings of like items that my entire set is priced very well. I don't want to but must sell it andhave tried to price it at a great deal for the winning bidder. This set has onlybeen used once;I have the original boxes they came in. This set includes: (1) Lenox Nativity Large Stable, manger or creche is n excellent condition. In rich, dark wood, this classic creche provides a beautiful backdrop for this collection. It measures approximately 19" wide x 19" tall by 11" deep and is the authentic Lenox creche that is sold with the other collectible Lenox figurines. Retail price for new is $143.00. All the figurines listed below are authentic Lenox bone china and items included are known as Lenox China Jewels. That's because all the figurines are embellished with some type of jewels set in 14k or 24K gold. I've tried my best to describe the jewels that are with each of the figurines listed below. All items are in excellent condition, no cracks, no chips. All of them are marked on the bottom in 24k gold with the original Lenox markings. Some of them have the original issue date; others do not. * MARY, MOTHER OF JESUS: measures approximately 5" tall. Mary is accented with turquoise enamel jewels on both sides of her hooded cape with 24 karat gold surrounding them. She is kneeling in prayer and has a halo over her head. The back of the piece has a raised design going down the center of the cape, from the top of her back to the bottom of her feet. , Original issue date is 1993. *JOSEPH stands approximately 6.5" tall with his head bowed and his hands clasped in prayer. Original issue date is 1993. *BALTHAZAAR, is one of the 3 Wise Men; original issue date is 1994. He measures approxi. 5" tall; he is kneeling and holding his chest of myrrh. His robe is beautifully decorated in jewels. The bottom of his cape has red ruby like jewels trimmed with 24k gold. His cape at the top over his shoulders and around the back is trimmed in turquoise jewls and 24k gold. On the top of his head is a beautiful Bethlehem 24k gold star with one single jewel which is the same ruby red as at the bottom of his cape. *GASPAR, another one of the three wise men measures approximately 6" tall and bears in his hand the crown he presented to baby Jesus. The jewels on Gaspar are depicted down the bottom of his robe (these are blue type jewels embellished in 24 k gold); on his cape sleeves (turquoise embellished in 24 k gold); around the top of his head with one ruby like jewel embellished in 24 k gold; and, at the top of his head are turquoise jewels embellished in 24k gold. *MELCHIOR, the third Wise Man measures 6.25" tall. His jewels include the red ruby like jewels down both sides of the front of his cape; these, too, are embellished in 24k gold. Turquoise jewels surround the top of his head with the red and turquoise jewels at the very top. The back of his cape is absolutely beautiful and includes jewels in a v-shape from about the middle of his back down to the end of his cape. These jewels are turquoise and ruby like, also embellished in the 24k gold. *BABY JESUS in his manger measures approximately 3.5" from top of his head to the end of the manger.
