Up for your consideration to purchase is this authentic baseball Hall of Famer Leo Durocher autographed Official National League baseball that I obtained in the late 1980's. It was signed on the sweet spot by Durocher and the ball comes with the ball holder as shown in the photos. Please note that the photos do not show the top cover for the ball cover. It does come with the ball holder and ball. The cover was taken off for photo purposes. Durocher's signature is on an official National League A. Bartlett Giamatti era baseball. Very few autographed Leo Durocher baseballs exist making this a truely rare item that will surely increase in value. Check out the photos! Leo Ernest Durocher (July 27, 1905 -- October 7, 1991), nicknamed Leo the Lip, was the outspoken and controversial manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers, New York Giants, Houston Astros and the Chicago Cubs. Upon his retirement, he ranked fifth all-time among managers with 2,009 career victories, and second only to John McGraw in National League history. As of 2007, Durocher still ranks tenth in career wins by a manager. Durocher's career was dogged by clashes with authority, umpires and the press.
